Jeff and Amber Hooper joined Pathway Church in May 2026 with a passion to help people find and follow Jesus. Jeff serves as Lead Pastor, and together they are committed to building a church where people can belong, grow in their faith, and discover God's purpose for their lives.
Jeff has served in ministry for more than 30 years in a variety of leadership roles and loves teaching God's Word in a practical, authentic way that inspires people to take their next step with Jesus. Amber is a licensed marriage and family therapist who has spent years helping individuals, couples, and families experience hope, healing, and healthy relationships. Together, they share a heart for seeing lives transformed by the love of Christ.
When they're not serving at Pathway, you'll often find them spending time with family, exploring the Pacific Northwest, or recording their podcast together, where they candidly share the joys, challenges, and lessons they're learning in ministry and life.

Matt and Olivia Venable officially joined Pathway Church in September 2026, after both serving frequently as guest preachers at Pathway in the years prior.
Matt serves as an Associate Pastor, charged with leading a local campus of Discover Ministry School, and establishing and maintaining key systems that will help the church thrive. Matt has been following a calling to serve God in ministry leadership from a very young age--teaching, preaching, leading, serving, and establishing church systems and processes for over 35 years—most recently as a Teaching Pastor on staff with Pathway’s sister church, The Restoration Point, in Tacoma. Matt has a passion for equipping people to find and fulfill the calling God has on their life, and a passion for good preaching that connects God’s truth with real life. Matt is a 20-year Air Force veteran and now continues to work full-time as a data scientist in the technology industry.
Olivia is a trained counselor with over 20 years of pastoral counseling experience. Her heart is to help believers experience the transformative power of Jesus in their emotional and relational health.
Outside of ministry or professional responsibilities, Matt and Olivia love to play strategy games, go looking for interesting birds, go to theme parks, or really just relax at home.
